basically dale city off and on into woodbridge and lorton off and on into springfield but the good news is the lanes are open. we'll cover area roadways once again but before i go, i have a follow-up to my report from yesterday. i gave you an update on the 495 express lanes on the beltway. last october similar high occupancy toll lanes opened along interstate 85 outside of atlanta. the biggest problem there of course is people breaking the law. 12% of drivers in those hot lanes are supposed to pay a toll but they don't. there are cameras snapping license plates of those violators and they face a $25 fine each time they get caught. when it comes to the 495 express lanes in virginia, virginia state police will use cameras to enforce the rules. you have to pay an ez-pass to pay for the toll lanes. you can ride for free if you have three people in the car pool and motorcycles are free. this is mostly about the honor code and the honor system. of course virginia state police will be out there. i just spoke to one of the ladies that i spoke to yesterday from 495 express lanes. they don't know
